CelloPointe

Created by the Wiley family, CelloPointe celebrates the merging of chamber music and contemporary ballet with a dedication to creating new works and paying homage to beloved classics

ABOUT

CelloPointe is a chamber music and contemporary ballet performance ensemble based out of New York City. Dona Wiley founded this company along with her family- mother Marcia Wiley as Executive Director, father Peter Wiley as cellist, and brother David Wiley as Associate Director and guest cellist- in 2011. Dona serves as the rehearsal director, dancer, and one of CelloPointe's many freelance choreographers. CelloPointe has performed in New York City at the Ailey Citigroup Theatre, Manhattan Movement and Arts Center Theatre, The United Palace Theatre, and The Jamaica Performing Arts Center. National touring includes performances in Connecticut, Oregon, Arizona, and New Mexico. CelloPointe operates on a unique concert structure that aims to equally highlight the artistry of musicians and dancers.
